Challenge
The new ecommerce site for bettys.com had to integrate with multiple systems, including the internal retail and order management system. Our brief was to upgrade an existing one-way data transfer into a two-way managed web service.
Solution
Redbox worked with both Bettys and their system provider to develop and deliver an end-to-end integrated process allowing the website and internal management system to run in sync. Furthermore, the previous one-way manual integration mechanisms were upgraded to utilise a two-way web service; all critical site information is now integrated providing a seamless business process.
Conducted via secured and encrypted web services, the communication enables the order processing and catalogue management to be expedited by the Bettys team.
Result
Since go-live the integration platform has processed many thousands of orders - as well as managed stock detail, consumer data and payment flow between the two systems.
