Challenge
With more and more consumers turning to the web to take the hassle out of sending cards and gifts, Clintons needed to engage and build relationships with their online customers. Redbox were engaged to devise the strategy and then design and deliver a solution that matched the range provided by the in-store experience, retaining their existing loyal customer base– while extending it to lead in the print-on-demand market.
Solution
Redbox delivered a fully customised end-to-end ecommerce solution, offering online personalised services on cards and gifts, with text and photo upload, as well as real time previews, and a range of over 7,000 easily browsed products. From a business perspective the solution delivered provides real-time management of the site including all supplier interfaces and Print-on-Demand requirements.
Developed using extensive testing and research, the website's new look & functionality is designed to focus on the customer experience – providing innovative services such as reminders, a secure one-click purchase for registered customers, and a range of delivery options.
Result
The platform brings new life to this iconic brand's online offering. It places Clintons right back in the game to become a leader online as well as on the high street.
Redbox and Clintons are continuing to work in partnership on the next phases of a full multi-channel engagement programme, including live customer service, in-store and print on-demand kiosks and loyalty schemes.
